January
Research begins
A project funded by the CyberSG R&D Programme Office (CRPO) under the Cyber Security Agency of Singapore (CSA) begins, led by Principal Investigator Asst Prof Xiaofei Xie (SMU) with Co-Principal Investigators including Assoc Prof Wenjun Zhu (NTU). It studies how to identify, measure and manage the risks of LLM and AI-agent supply chains — and how to insure them.

AgentSure is founded
AgentSure is incorporated in Singapore as a spin-off from SMU, to turn this research into products.
June
AI risk and insurance, Nankai University
We organised the “AI Risk Management & Insurance” session at the Insurance & Actuarial Forum 40 Young Scholars Forum 2026 in Tianjin, with keynotes by Tiger Li and Prof. Xiaofei Xie.

Deployed at the national level
JANUS Audit and JANUS Pentest go into production use in a national-level security environment in Singapore.

Co-hosted with CRPO and SMU, bringing together financial services, insurance, technology, cybersecurity, government and academia to make AI risk measurable and manageable.
